De Kluft Recreational Centre covers an area of approximately 15 hectares. The grounds include around 300 spaces for both regular visitors as well as visitors, most of which have a clear view over the water and an electricity connection. In addition, there is a backpacker’s field for tents, also beautifully located at the water’s edge.

Our campsite also has a laundromat and good sanitation facilities, including options for disabled guests and special children’s showers, centrally located on the grounds. Fresh rolls are available at our bread shop every morning, and from Ascension Thursday weekend (in May) we also have a campsite shop open by the marina. From midday our snack bar and restaurant will be open for lunch and evening meals.  

We also have wireless Internet, with a signal reception over almost the entire campsite. For a fee, you can log in using your own laptop and use the Internet as you wish. Options are for an hour, a day, a weekend, a week and longer.

For children, there is a wonderful playground and small beach with natural water for swimming. During Ascension Thursday weekend, Whitsuntide and the high season, we have a recreation team present who organise a weekend programme for children up to 12 years.
